Banff - chap 1

Hey everyone,

We have arrived in Banff after a grueling 14 hour bus ride through the banjo dueling Canadian country side. We checked into The Hi Hostel on Saturday morning and since then our lives have been a lethal combination of beer, sight seeing and serious job hunting. The town is very accommodating to people seeking work, the only problem being accommodation. We have interviews for Sunshine mountain lined up on Wednesday and it seems as though once the snow falls there will be a mad rush of employment.
It is 17 degrees today which has been very unexpected but pleasant. The wild life is amazing, so calm and abundant. We are yet to see a bear but don't worry, you will know when we do. I think they have all gone to bed for winter and maybe that is why the elk are in such a docile mood. That is all to report on for now, please feel free to leave a comment.
