Steve, Anna’s brother, arrived late yesterday afternoon for a two week ski trip. He’s like a little kid after a jug of raspberry, walking around in his ski boots at 7:30 this morning. He can barely contain himself. We have planned trips to Fernie, Lake Louise, Castle Mountain and maybe Kicking Horse. So, as you can see it will be a hectic 2 weeks.
Anna and I were both nominated for employee of the month which involves a buffet dinner with management, supervisors and fellow nominees. The dinner was pretty impressive. There was sea food, Alberta beef, great salads and the piece de resistance; a chocolate fountain! Mmmmm. Heineken was free all night and was thoroughly enjoyed, I would even go as far as to say it was savored. This event is held once a month and a grand winner is voted on by a committee, if you win you get a night in our hotel and dinner for two at Eagles Nest, our high end restaurant. And the winner was…John Prins. You know I don’t like a scene so I was very embarrassed but stoked to be getting a night in the hotel and free dinner. We also get tailor made trail sign and a jumper each just for being nominated.
Steve will be waiting for me at the Wawa chair lift so I’m off to show him around the mountain for a bit.

Maybe they will give you a raise a car and you will be stuck on the mountain forever! Hahaha! Have a tops time with Steve and tell him my sister says hello! Just jokes! Congrats again mate! That makes for a good story! Talk soon baboon! M ;)
