We have jobs! We went for a picnic! I have a man bag!?!

The City is still its lively self, we have decided that the West End is the coolest area in Vancouver. It has been an awesome weekend weather wise so Anna, Zoe, Mitch and I went for a picnic by the beach. It was very sophisticated, I managed to fumble my way through a killer pork, spinach, capsicum and (the kicker) pear salad while Simon and Zoe made a superb cous cous dish. See, we are becoming quite the civilised city dwelling citizens.

Our new job resource/toy/time waster.

Anna started work at a cafe in town as a stop gap until something better comes up, she has her eye on a couple of funky local places so we are playing the waiting game for those. I have just finished temping for a bank which basically involved photocopying their whole filing cabinet, not quite where I see my career heading but it served a purpose. I would not have been surprised at all if my replacement was an over achieving chimpanzee. I did have an interview today for a role requiring the preparation and presentation of contracts for an electric company, an area I have no experience in but I may have bluffed my way into a job. We'll wait and see.

Bye for now
