I just love the Somerset accent, it is spoken at the pace of an unmotivated three toed sloth but with the polite intonation of a prospective son in law meeting the parents. The South and South West of England continues to delight us with its quaint old buildings and wonderful hospitality.
If I'm honest, and I will be, Anna and I are hanging out to start working. It has been a little too long between drinks for us both. We (when I say we here I really mean Anna) have become so efficient at getting ready to leave for our next destination that I will often find my tooth brush pre-prepared with toothpaste awaiting my arrival from the shower. This way, not a moment of time is wasted and 'we' are never left idle waiting for one another.
We will not wish this time away however. It is great to catch up with friends and family.
Anna, Nicola, Keith and I drove up to Bath on Wednesday. With no disrespect, to look at Bath you would think it does not belong in England but on the European Continent. Lots of cool bars and restaurants line the Georgian styled lanes and Bath generally has a really funky feel to it.
Salut!
