Argentiere to Martingy

Snow tyres were crucial

Anna and I were lucky enough to take the Mont-Blanc Express train to Martigny in Switzerland. Swiss engineering at its finest is on show as you wind through mountainous terrain. The purpose of the trip was to pick up the work van from the mechanics and drive it back. We are taking advantage of every opportunity to explore the area. Richard is constantly amazing us with a wide variety of errands to run, all of which we are eager to complete. We're like a couple of loyal Spaniels whose highlight of the day is fetching the paper for our owner, which is fine with me if the journey involves an hours train ride through the Alps.

Speaking of which, It is time to move furniture into the Chalet.

One of the many villages along the journey
