Week Ten

Good riddance! Two groups of guests from a prestigious club in London graced us with their presence this week. 'Graced' is perhaps not the correct word, inflicted is more how it felt. The personalities ranged from self proclaimed 'serial entrepreneurs' to wives who had forgotten how to look after themselves after years of paying someone to do it for them. Again, being the consummate professionals we topped up wine glasses on demand (to half empty of course), consoled those saddened by the fact it was 'actually snowing...on a ski holiday...how inconvenient' and engaged in mind numbing conversation which was actually more like listening to a series of soliloquies. All while venting our frustrations to poor Richard, Aiofe (our flatmate) and anyone else who would listen.
We have had 3 days off to recover and managed to do some amazing skiing as the snow continues to fall thick and fast. The winter season is turning into one of the best in 10 years and we are glad to be here to enjoy it with the locals.
