Geneva

I had a long wait in Geneva on a sunny Sunday afternoon so decided to go for a quick Captain Cook, a look, around the Swiss city.

Geneva is quite small and quite boring. The city's main tourist attraction is the lake and more specifically a water spout that shoots high into the air from the lake. It does go quite high and I guess it is more spectacular than the Big Pineapple but it is a strange thing to spend time and money on. I would love to know the thought process behind the creators of such a strange idea.

The old town was the highlight for me, I can't get enough of old European buildings. The shopping district was not nearly as impressive. Although, in almost every shop you could purchase chocolate, a watch or a Swiss army knife that I'm sure, with some subtle manipulation, could become a watch or chocolate.
