Korcula

The Old Town of Korcula Kung Fu Panda?

Pronounced Kor-chula, this island is like a mini Dubrovnik. We managed to find a great hostel where we relaxed, reassessed logistics and re-gathered our thoughts for the second half of the trip. As it is still low season transport throughout the islands can be quite random so a bit of pre-planning has been required, much to Anna's delight. The mere mention of organising sends Anna scampering off for a pen and paper so we can start a list. Which reminds me...'do another blog' can be crossed off.
We were given a lift by the hostel owner to a couple of bays off the beaten track which proved to be a very worth while journey. We practically had the beach to ourselves all day, with the exception of a couple of locals and a topless sunbather.

The water is still a little chilly but crystal clear and with the kiwi reputation to uphold Anna and I have not let a little brrr get in the way of ticking off swimming in the Adriatic on numerous occasions.
